Achron Alpha Demo is now available for download to those who pre-order Achron!

By pre-ordering a license to Achron, you can download the latest alpha release, and all the upcoming future releases of Achron, including the full final game. Other pre-release programs available to those who pre-order include mod tools, tournaments, community artwork submissions, community level submissions, the Resequence Engine, and possibly third party Resequence time travel games. The current release is an alpha build that includes a handful of single-player demo and tutorial levels. Achron is not a polished final game yet, but we are working toward that. Multiplayer modes, level editors, and further content will be released in the coming months.

The current build requires: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, or 7; an ATI or Nvidia graphic card from within the last 3 years; recent drivers; a dual core processor; 1 GB of RAM; and 1 GB of free hard drive space.

We have an experimental build for Mac OS X which requires at least OS X version 10.6.3 capable of running 64-bit binaries. This experimental release requires a dual core processor, and has not yet been tested across many hardware configurations yet. We also have an experimental build available for 64-bit GNU/Linux, which requires either the proprietary ATI or Nvidia graphic card drivers. We are planning to support Mac and 32-bit GNU/Linux in the future. A preorder for Achron will give you access to install any of the Windows, Mac, and GNU/Linux platforms we support.
